Bio:
Kevin Lee McIver recently scribed Poems from My Heart: A Collection of Artwork and Poetry. A Juneau resident newly arrived from the lower-48, Kevin’s unabashed obsession with the English language is only rivaled by his unparalleled drive to enmesh himself with nature. Hunting, fishing, and living in the great outdoors are etched in his soul. From blasting out of a UH-1H helicopter at 3,000 feet, to sleeping in a snow cave in the Italian Alps, Kevin lives the Ranger Creed. He has lived in Europe, the Middle East, and Asia—and draws much of his creative ideas from time spent in the army.
