Favorite Places in Alaska: anyplace I haven't been yet
Bio: I've been a teacher at the University of Alaska Fairbanks since 1986, a poet for as long as I can remember, and a published poet for only a few years now. Most of my writing work is in the creative field of literary criticism, on American literature, northern literature, and theories of the fiction/nonfiction distinction. My wife, Alexandra Fitts, also teaches at UAF, and we have two kids, Galen and Annabel.
Books:
Desert, Garden, Margin, Range: Literature on the American Frontier (criticism), Twayne P, 1992
