Bio:
Won Seventeen Magazine's short story contest when I was that age, thought Wow, this is easy, have been learning otherwise ever since. In Alaska since 1959, mostly associated with the university, including first editing, then writing the Science Forum columns, and serving as first managing editor for the University of Alaska Press.
