Bio:
I have lived the Alaska dream since arriving in 1981. I commercially fished for 24 years, built and have a home in a remote bay on Kodiak Island. I became involved with the Iditarod and did the race myself in 2002. My book recounts the trials of someone who, perhaps while going through a midlife crisis - accepted the challenge of her life.Currently I commute between two of the most amazing places in the world - Denali National Park and Kodiak Island.
